Jerome M. Charen, Chairman of Charen, Palitz and Rosenberg, has more than 40 years of personal experience as an attorney for businesses and nonprofit organizations, including acting as a principal in the formation, operation, funding and sale of entities.
After a stint in the U.S. Army, Jerome M. Charen attended Temple University and prior to completing his undergraduate degree, was accepted at Temple University Law School. At the law school, he provided articles for the Law Review and graduated at the top of his class.
His first 10 years of practice was in litigation and then continued to the representation of privately held businesses and nonprofit corporations. His work now includes start ups, acquisition and sale of businesses, obtaining funding, contract negotiations corporate turnarounds, business dispute resolution, nonprofit counsel and providing CEO services.
Charen has been called upon for assistance in funding, dispute resolution, and other business problems by large and small law firms as well as business groups and individuals. He has also participated in the formation of many business, some of which he has been active in as principal.
For existing clients, Charen acts as the legal department for a company or organization, without subjecting the client to the overhead burden of having an in-house legal department.
